LEARNING TO SCULPT A PLAYER
Have the students form a horseshoe around you.
Tell the students you are made out of clay and that they are Master Sculptors
Instruct the players to one at a time starting from the left, “mold” and “position” one thing about you with their master sculpture voices. Suggest them to position your knees, elbows, head, parts of face, hips, legs etc. Tell them to use their hand to wave your part into position as they instruct you with their voice.
**NOTE** USE A PROMPT SUCH AS AN

BONUS! HAVE THE STATUE COME ALIVE
Once they are done, start to come alive by uttering the word BANANA. The position should have inspired a change in your voice.
Start to walk forward and saying the word BANANA.
Greet the players in character.
SCULPTURES COME TO LIFE!
Pair up the players. Decide on an A & B: A will be the master sculptor first.
Let A sculpt and position B. Play your sculpting music if feeling zealous.
Have B hold this sculpture for a short time. Have the As walk around and see what As have sculpted. Also known as a GALLERY.
Then have the As return to their Bs.
Instruct the Bs to start to come alive by saying the word BANANA in their frozen position.
Have Bs start to come more alive and discover a walk from their held position while constantly saying the word BANANA.
Have Bs greet As saying the word BANANA and other gibberish/fruits.
Tell Bs to remember their new Character.
Have Bs sculpt As.
REPEAT steps 3-7.
FREEZE everyone.
Tell Bs to go back into their position.
Tell everyone to come back alive and greet, mingle and interact with all the other characters.
Ask the players questions like:
What does your character do for a living?
What does your character want from other characters?
How does your character greet other characters?
What is your character’s name?
